PolyField is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data when you use our app, in compliance with Google Play’s User Data Policy.

PolyField does not collect or share any personal or sensitive user data.

The only data handled by the app are event measurements (e.g., wind speed, throw distances), which are:

Collected locally during an active session
Used solely to provide athletic performance feedback
Not linked to any user or device identifiers

2. Data Storage & Retention

All measurement data is:

Stored temporarily in-memory
Wiped automatically when a session ends or is reset by the user
Never saved to disk, uploaded, or transmitted over the internet

3. Data Sharing

PolyField does not:

Share any data with third parties
Use advertising or analytics SDKs
Collect or transmit data for marketing, profiling, or personalization

4. Security Practices

Although PolyField does not retain user data, we follow best practices to ensure the app functions securely:

All data is processed locally on the user’s device
No external servers or cloud services are involved

5. Children’s Privacy

PolyField is designed for general use and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. No personal information is collected at any time.
Target user groups are England Athletics / UKA verified and licensed Officials at Athletics events. These groups are over 16 and follow safeguarding checks.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to comply with legal or platform requirements. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
