The EASIER programme, which is organised by the University of Hertfordshire, helps companies to reduce their carbon footprint, and reduce overheads as well. It encourages firms in the East of England to reduce the amount of carbon they produce, whilst becoming more competitive. Our advice is completely free, and tailored uniquely to your company. We also advise on interest-free loans to help you implement our recommendations. Generally, we are looking to reduce the carbon footprint of participating companies by up to 20% – usually, this would result in a similar reduction in their fuel bills. Your will receive a ‘before’ and ‘after’ statement of your carbon footprint, produced by an independent auditor. Qualifying firms must have fewer than 250 staff, and be located in the East of England region.
