About ISO 9001

ISO 9001:2008 is a Standard, part of the ISO 9000 series, which specifies minimum requirements for a quality management system. it can help your organisation to control and improve the quality of your product or service. The system can be certified by a third party, normally a UKAS accredited certification body.

The Standard provides a framework for continual improvement, concentrating on business processes and using a customer-centred approach. this quality management model uses four related processes; management responsibility; resource management; product realisation; measurement, analysis, improvement. ISO 9001 is extremely ”user-friendly”, being adapatable to suit all organisations.
